BENEFITS OF BECOMING A MEMBER |
| All intrastate movers in the state of Michigan are required to have a tariff on file with the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division office. Members of the Michigan Movers Association are listed as participants on the MMA Tariff 4000 on file with the CVED office. |
| The MMA monitors legislation and regulations that affect the moving industry in Michigan. |
| Members are easily found on the MMA website using “Find A Mover”. |
| Members are encouraged to have employees and their children apply for the Eurich Academic Scholarship. Scholarships range from $250 – $1500 and awardees are announced in July. |
| Members have access to use the custom developed Electronic Tariff. |
JOINING THE MMA AS AN ASSOCIATE |
| The Michigan Movers Association Associate Members have a wide range of products and services for the moving industry. |
| Our Associate Members are encouraged to exhibit or sponsor at our Annual Membership Conference giving them the opportunity network and get to know our members and their needs. |
| Each year, the MMA prints a Member Directory, which includes our Associate Members. This is mailed to all association members to provide quick access and reference. |
